Los atentados de Madrid, a examen en Filadelfia

El encuentro anual de la Asociación Americana de Ciencia Política se celebra este año en Filadelfia del 30 de agosto al 2 de septiembre. Durante la pre-conferencia de la sección de Comunicación Política, las investigadoras españolas Cristina Zurutuza (Universidad de Navarra) y María José Canel (Universidad Complutense de Madrid, en compañía de Karen Sanders, de la Universidad de Sheffield) presentarán sendas ponencias sobre la comunicación institucional durante los atentados de marzo de 2004 en Madrid:

Canel y Sanders han publicado recientemente otro trabajo comparativo entre España y Gran Bretaña, Morality Tales: Political Scandals and Journalism in Britain and Spain in the 1990s (Cresskill, NJ: Hampton Press, 2006), sobre la cobertura periodística de escándalos políticos en la prensa española y británica.
